Are there sign-up fees associated with joining the wine club?

No

What are my Wine Club benefits?
  • Free membership: no additional fees with four quarter commitment

I just joined. When will my first shipment arrive?

If you joined while visiting our tasting room, you took home the first quarter order while you were here. 

If you joined online the 1st order will arrive around the 25th of the month of the corresponding quarter (i.e. if you joined in November you can expect an order around January 25th). Wine Club orders are done quarterly: January, April, July and October.

I signed up for Wine Club while I was at the winery, what happens next?

We will process your Wine Club application and send you a Welcome Email with 7 days. If you do not receive this email please contact Melissa at wineclub@bowersharbor.com or call 231-223-7615 so we can verify your email address.

How many times per year do you ship my wines or can I pick up my wine?

We ship four times per year, once every quarter. Pick-up club members, we require you pick up your wines four times per year, once every quarter. You can ALWAYS buy more wine throughout the year and you will receive your discount on all additional wines and clothing.

Can I customize my order?

Yes, our Wine Club is customizable.

How do I remain a Wine Club member?

Memberships do not expire, please let us know if you need to cancel your membership. Email wineclub@bowersharbor.com

May I order wines outside of my club shipments, or re-order wines that were in a club shipment?

Yes, club level discounts are applied to any additional orders.

May I order wines as a gift?

Yes, please visit /Shop/All-Wine

Wine Club members will receive their discount on wines that are purchased as gifts. Members can also purchase Wine Club memberships as gifts.

How do I change the shipment address of my wines?

If I am going to be visiting Traverse City can I change my order to be picked up instead of shipped?

Does someone need to be available to sign for my wine delivered by UPS?

Yes, UPS requires someone over 21 years of age to sign for the wine. Wine can be shipped to a business address if that is the best option for you.

Is there a cancellation fee?

A $20 cancellation fee will be applied if you have been a wine club for less than one year

Can my family/friends pick up my order?

Yes, family members can pick up the orders. Please arrange with Melissa by emailing wineclub@bowersharbor.com or calling 231-223-7191

Do you ship to PO boxes?

No, alcohol cannot be shipped to a PO Box.

What is your return policy?

If we ship your wine to you and your wine is damaged in transit, please call or email us immediately.  Our wines are guaranteed to arrive in good condition.  If your shipment is deemed "undeliverable" by the carrier, your wine will be returned to the Winery and a reship fee will apply.

Are there storage fees for past orders?  

Wine Club storage fees will be implemented for Club Members that have wine at BHV for an extended amount of time. Storage fees will be $5 per month (per order) and charged to your credit card on file the 1st of every month. 

For instance, if your 2018 January Wine Club order is still in our warehouse on June 1st, 2018 you will be charged $5 per month until you pick up your order or have it shipped.
