Bowers Harbor Vineyards Summer Art Series:

Tinker Studio is excited to once again partner with Bowers Harbor Vineyards to offer three immersive wine and art events this summer in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the vines!
Soak in the spectacular sights of Bowers Harbor Vineyards while you sample wines and nibble on delicious snacks…then relax and let Tinker Studio lead you through a fun and approachable art class where you will explore watercolor, pastels, or printmaking. Capture the beauty and magic of a Northern Michigan Summer day in your own, original, piece of art to take home and treasure.
Sign up for one…or all three! Space is limited to 10 participants per class, so don’t delay.

Watercolor in the Vineyards:

Part 1: Start your day surrounded by the natural beauty of Bowers Harbor Vineyards at 10:30 a.m. with 5 samples of wine and an assortment of snacks to fuel your creativity! $15 for this portion of the event is payable to Bowers Harbor Vineyards upon arrival. Wine by the glass will also be available for purchase.

Part 2: Class begins at 11 a.m. under the shade of a large maple tree, and overlooking the scenic Bowers Harbor Vineyards. Tinker Studio’s Mary Kay Burbee will guide you through a two hour class in basic watercolor techniques to help you create a modern composition featuring the summer sky, west bay, the land and trees surrounding the vineyards. You will leave with a completed composition, matted and suitable for framing.

$50 for the watercolor class includes instruction in a small group setting and all materials.

Pre-registration & payment for the class is required.

*In the event of inclement weather, your day will still begin at Bowers Harbor Vineyards for your tasting and snacks, and class will be held at Tinker Studio…right around the corner! Inclement weather timeline: Tasting: 10:30-11:15, Class: 11:30 -1:30.
