Our Appletage dessert Port-Style wine is composed of four different Michigan apples. Using post
harvest, frozen apples, the water content of the fruit remains frozen. Therefore, just the nectar and
sugars of the apples are pressed out, giving the wine rich flavor and velvety texture. The Appletage
is fortified and then barrel aged, adding complex butterscotch and caramel flavors that melt in your
mouth.
