Here's a great gift set that will age well for years to come or is ready to drink now if patience is not a virtue you have mastered!  This set includes 2-great bottles from the 2017 vintage, our flagship 2896 Langley Meritage blend and Cabernet Franc from the Erica Vineyard. 

The 2017 2896 is a blend of 68% Cabernet Franc and 32% Merlot all grown in our Langley Vineyard named after Spencer’s grandfather.  It will exhibit the flavor profile of a traditional Bordeaux blend (think leather, roasted coffee, etc.).  This set also includes a bottle of 2017 Cabernet Franc, Erica.  The estate grown Cab Franc from the Erica Vineyard consistently displays an amazing nose of dark fruit, enhanced by the world's finest oak.  The flavor profile includes sweet cherries, plum and dark chocolate with hints of earthy spice. 

The 2017 vintage was an abundant growing year.  Mother Nature provided a warm summer and the autumn did not have much rainfall.  This allowed us to keep the grapes on the vines longer to increase the dark skin color and ripeness of the fruit. 

These reds were aged in premium French oak specifically chosen to bring out the nuances of each varietal.  Whether you are purchasing these for your own cellar or as a gift, these bottles from the 2017 vintage are great examples of the liquid poetry that can result from masterful winemaking coupled with sun-kissed fruit provided by our silent partner, Mother Nature.  Enjoy!
